There are power connections with ring terminals on the back of this unit as you can see in the 2nd photo. If you are going to use this for 11 40a you want to use the connections on the back. The connections on the front can be used up to 10a. This charger is built solid and can handle high current. It's one of the most powerful 110v chargers for batteries up to 30v.
